這是我在FB看到的國外小牛動物救援組織(Til The Cows Come Home)貼出的一篇英文募款文章，因為有朋友希望我幫忙翻成中文分享給他，所以就順便翻譯一下練習英翻中，雖然有些地方可能翻得不盡準確，但最重要的還是希望大家看完之後幫忙小牛Lucy 看見美麗的世界唷!

HELP LUCY SEE　幫助Lucy 看見世界

Imagine coming into this world, not able to see, dragged away from your mother, and left alone to die. Die she would have, either from heat and dehydration or a blow to the head. Luckily for Lucy, our animal rescue volunteers arrived to pick up other calves when they noticed this tiny girl separate from the other babies, all alone, curled up and shivering from shock.

想像自己來到這個世界，看不見又被從媽媽身邊被拉走然後孤獨地等待死去，那有多可憐。 Lucy一樣也會死去，不管是發燒脫水或是頭被人重擊而死。 幸運的是，Lucy 在被強迫與跟他一樣大的小嬰兒狀態的兄弟姊妹強制分開時被我們的志工注意到並救了起來，那時的她很單獨，顫抖地蜷縮著身體，讓人心疼。

Give Lucy a chance　給 Lucy 一個機會

When Lucy arrived at our foster station, it was evident that she had trouble seeing. When the vet examined her, she was deemed blind. For the first few weeks, Lucy required daily treatment. She had to be lead, and shown how to drink milk from a bottle. It was a stressful time for Lucy, not knowing where she was.

當Lucy來到我們領養中心時，我們發現她的眼睛很明顯有問題。當動物醫生給她作檢查時，她被判定為失明了。所以在一開始幾周，Lucy需要每天被治療。她必須有人帶著她教她怎麼喝奶瓶的牛奶，對Lucy來說那是緊張的時刻，因為她自己也不知道她身在哪裡。

You can make it happen　你可以讓它實現

Soon, a friendship formed, and Frankie, who was rescued the same day, became Lucy’s constant companion. They became inseparable and Frankie leads Lucy everywhere even though she can’t see her. But what if they could see each other – what would happen if Lucy could wake up and see? Now specialist vets say they can remove her cataracts. But this has to be done urgently, before the condition gets worse. That’s why Lucy needs your help now. Lucy deserves to see her world, please help her dream come true.

但很快地，她跟與她同一天被救到這裡來的Frankie成為了好朋友，Frankie現在成了Lucy固定的陪伴。 他們形影不離並且Frankie 會在任何地方引導著Lucy，即使Lucy她看不見她。 但如果她們可以看見彼此，要是Lucy有一天醒來可以看得見世界呢? 現在 專業的醫生說她們可以移除Lucy的白內障幫她看見世界。但是必須快點，在她眼睛還有救之前，這就是為何Lucy 此刻需要你的幫忙。Lucy值得看見她的世界，需要請你們幫忙讓她可以夢想成真。

 Any funds raised over and above the cost of Lucy’s treatment will go towards caring for calves that also need urgent medical treatment.

任何治療Lucy後多出來的捐款都會用在其它需要緊急醫療資源的小牛身上，
